i was awoken by the chirpy birds outside my window this morning. they were loud. there was super vigour in their chirpiness. i had not heard bird song in the morning for a long time.
there was joy in their song. on opening my eyes i could see sunshine.
deep breath in. big sigh out. smile.
all seems better in the sunshine. i have become a freak for the sun. i have never been a sun worshiper, but i'm a devotee today.
so let the sunshine in....
my aunt is doing better. her op went well. she is back to her feisty self, red marker in hand. apparently her notes are full of attitude, and no one would have it any other way. a long recovery is ahead, it looks bright.
so to her, you and me,
