my son just won a state wide science prize for his acheivement in growing this cute crystal.
i am amazed. we undertook the crystal making in the name of fun. learning something new. sharing a common interest with some new friends. following through with a long process.
and as a family we all were involved, really cute stuff.
never in a million years did we think the final product would win.
such a pleasant surprise
