today nearly shattered our lives into a million pieces
i think i thought we live on solid ground an illusion of a glacier beneath our feet
when really we live on thin ice, skating around feeling invincible but more fragile than we realise
i am always amazed at human resiliance, yet we are fragile and vulnerable too.
our hearts break easily. this world is harder on our hearts than we think.
i have to be kinder and more gentle with my heart and that of those i bump into every day.
who know which of us has a heart about to break.
