I Won!!!!!

i have not won much in my life.
i don't even know much about the author, Jonathan Mead or this book, Reclaim Your Dreams.
i do know i love Amanda's site, the kindest one out there.
i am focussing on LIGHT & illumination this year thanks to One Little Word.
and receiving lots of affirmation that i am on the right path.

when i was a teenager i would enter the competitions in the teen mags.
in all my teenage years i only won once, an eyeshadow & lipstick!
And now this.
so fun.
i feel teenage again.
a little shot of excitement to an ordinary-mum-busy-work-routine kinda day.

i will share my insight with you as i discover the fruits of my prize.
i am always on my way to my BIG dreams everyday.
i live my little dreams each moment.

i am filled with gratitude.
i give thanks.

very sparkly & twirling, madly.

ever get yourself in a tangle about things?

i went and saw this Disney movie today.
Go see it. It is not just for children.
It is for everyone who has ever been
torn apart by a choice,
has had to trust in themselves,
has rolled their eyes at their mother,
has had an impossible dream,
has longed for love,
and loves beauty.

This is a movie for little girls of all ages.
Remember our hearts don't grow old like the rest of us.

All a girl needs is a skillet,
a chameleon,
lots of magic hair
and a little bit of courage.

Letting go and trusting our inner knowing,
moving towards a dream,
even when we are scared and
don't know what it will look like at the dream,
we must dream.
Little ones,
secret ones,
BIG dreams or grand affairs,
whatever they are get them,
list them,
whisper them,
wish them.
Its where the love is revealed,
the magic,
the divine,
the peace.
Its all there waiting for us.

my favourite scene was the one below with the lanterns.
what if our dreams were like the lanterns
illuminating the world and our individual lives.
not all the time but in glimpses, moments,
during a cup of tea, as dawn breaks,
in just enough time to remind us
to let go,
have faith
and just be......
may your tangles unravel
may your dreams float around you
and inspire you to reach, for them.
let down your hair,
relax and save yourself from yourself.
enjoy the movie...

wishes do come true.......

iv'e been doing a bit of dreaming in the last few weeks. day dreaming, talking about dreams, plotting and planning the course of dreams and how to be in my own dreams. i only just realised framing a dream without you in it is quite pointless. it becomes too hard and not dreamy like.

i look for people dreaming and living their dreams. we are all in the middle of them, on our way to them, holding back from them and collapsing into bed to make some. i love to nap, just incase a dream is waiting for me. often they can be shy and wait for you to be still and quiet long enough for them to reveal themselves to you. i am learning to be kinder and gentler with my dreams & myself.

these are some amazing women dreamers who inspire me....
denise's ladies are delightful
christine arylo and her self love studio series are gifts 4 sure

my wish for us is to wander through our inspirations daily and share whats in our hearts bravely.
now, i wish for deep, restful sleep, dreams of skipping and painting and the tinkling laughter of my children, the hearty embraces of my beloveds and carefree dreams, from which i will awaken refreshed and enthusiastic to start my day .

Is it cloudy where you are?

must try to remember this,
even when the fears around me make me feel like there is no point in dreaming because the hard reality is a hard reality.
how do you hold on to what you believe in, when the winds swirling around you are blowing your dreams away? Are they less important, then the hard reality stuff?
How come it is so easy to watch the dreams flying away and to get stuck in the mud? its all a bit sticky & stucky around here.
i want to learn how to hold on the strings of my balloon dreams, to believe it is worthwhile to dream, it is more real than the hard reality. i want to teach my children this, but i don't quite get it myself.
twirling,

dream big.....

what is my biggest dream for myself?
what would it be in 1-3 words? kelly asks
but i don't know what my dreams are
i fill my life with business, i now think to avoid listening to the answer to this question
but what if i knew my dreams, what my future could be, what if i had the ablity to create all that my heart desires?
i know that mainly i do
look at my blessed life, so far i have created a wonderful life, with heaps of dreams come true
but what is missing?
a plan for me
who do i want to become now?

one small question and yet so many big ones to flow on from the contemplation

so 3 words.....
courage to plan
plan to create
commit to planning
write it down
next step challenges
healthy vital living
go for it
let go
surrender ... this is the one
